What is good/bad about windows XP vs. Vista?

Between XP and Vista, I’d go with Vista, XP is old, not that old is bad necessarily, but new software and drivers are geared toward the future, not the past. Also, I’m not sure when microsoft is going to officially stop supporting XP (not sure if that’s correct terminology) but I would also take that into account. Vista seems to have most of the early flaws worked out now.
