TYC holds the copyright for Resocialization©, but is no longer using the treatment program. Currently, the agency is designing a replacement that is evidenced-based and relevant to the risk and needs of individual youth. Beginning September 1, 2007, TYC will begin restructuring the programs offered at its institutions to include both core programs and specialized treatment services. Core programs will address chemical dependency, sexual behavior therapy, mental health, and workforce development. Education will continue to be offered as defined by state law.
