What is going on with Carpathian Forest?
Vrangsinn: Carpathian Forest have signed a deal with the Norwegian label Indie recordings and the plan is to release a new album late 2010. Personally I wish Carpathian Forest could be on Misantrof too, but you know how it is. Hard to teach an old dog to stop barking, so I guess I can live with it. Travis “Horus Bones” Loutsch: Indie is great, but Carpathian Forest can make a lot more money on a record label with more distribution. I don’t think Carpathian Forest would have a problem. Vrangsinn: Carpathian Forest belongs to the old generation of bands doing stuff the way it was used to be done, and with all those crazy motherfuckers in the same band it’s very hard sometimes to agree on things. We had offers from a shitload of labels, really, even the big ones. But, we accepted Indie’s deal mainly because they are a Norwegian company and we know how to hunt them down and kill them if they fuck with us.
