What is Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2?
GRAW2 is a tactical shooter that takes place immediately after the end of the first game and your goal is to prevent Mexican rebels from firing a nuclear device at the United States. The Ghost Recon series is typically slower paced and more strategy oriented than other shooters, and even among Tom Clancy shooters it is the least action oriented. The game is more about the correct use of your assets (infantry, tanks, helicopters, etc.) and technology and less about good aim and quick reflexes. What does this game do well? The focus of the game is squad tactics and command, and GRAW2 does an admirable job of putting you in that role. Most missions consist of you as squad leader and 3 GHOSTS, or advanced infantry, that follow your orders. You can tell them to move to a location, toggle their firing behavior between recon and assault, and have them shoot at specific targets of your choosing.
