What is Gerald McBoing Boing?
“Gerald McBoing Boing” is a new animated series based on the ground-breaking 1950s cartoon about a boy who only makes sounds (instead of speaking). Created by Theodor Geisel (Dr. Seuss) and produced by the legendary UPA studios, “Gerald McBoing Boing” is considered one of the greatest cartoons of all time. It won an Academy Award for best animated short in either 1950 or 1951. I’m not really sure of the date.
