What is Geo-Informatics?
Geo-Informatics is the application of new technologies to geographical problems, and includes technology-based approaches such as satellite remote sensing, Geographical Information Systems (GIS) and environmental modelling. BSc Geography and Geo-Informatics (F830) is taught entirely by Geography staff and allows you specialise in these aspects of Geography. BSc Joint Honours schemes are available in Geo-Informatics and Computer Science (GF48) and Geo-Informatics and Mathematics (GF18).
