GeneSpring is the expression data analysis software package produced by Agilent Technologies (formerly Silicon Genetics). What is Signet? Genespring Workgroup is a database for expression data generated from GeneSpring. GeneSpring Workgroup was known as Signet prior to 2005. A GS Workgroup database is running at NEBC Oxford. It stores expression data, analyses centrally and allows data to be shared across projects. It is likely that support for GS Workgroup will be phased out at the end of 2008. GS Workgroup is only compatible with GeneSpring version 7.3 or earlier.
