What is GCSE Additional Science?

Science and Additional Science are count for two GCSE’s. Triple Award counts for 3 GCSE’s i think. Each of biology, chemisty and physics has 3 units. If you do triple award then you complete all three taking unit 1 exam in year 10 and units 2 and 3 in year 11. Science and Additional Science only do the 1st 2 units of each of bio, chem and physics therefore only taking one exam in year10 and one in year 11 for each science. Therefore triple award is more academical because you are doing a further unit of science.
