What is garage equipment?
Garage equipment is commerical equipment used by mechanics and technicians, some of which you would find in MOT testing stations, car and van workshops and car servicing departments in order to service and repair vehicles to keep within warranties, goverment safety guidelines, modification of vehicles and to allow maintenance to the same standards as outlined by car manufacturers. Commercial garages have to take a lot more care with the equipment they use than has historically been the case. European Union regulations have also imposed reduction in emissions which have resulted in vehicle manufacturers having to enhance vehicle emissions control. Such regulations have in turn meant that commercial garages have to constantly update their equipment to keep pace with such changes and with continuously evolving technologies. In the main, garage equipment can be classified into three broad groups and these are as follows: 1. Mechanical handling and testing equipment 2. Diagnostic instrument
