What is Gallery Wrapping?

All of our canvases are gallery wrapped. The canvas is mounted onto 3/4″ wooden stretcher bars and the image is wrapped around the bars with staples in the back. This gives the canvas a completed look and allows you to hang it directly on the wall without a frame. Gallery wrapped canvases can also be framed if you choose to do so.

A. Gallery wrapping is the process that the finished print goes through in order to mount and stretch it onto the internal frame. The canvas is gently stretched by one of the few patented StretchMaster machines in the UK on all four sides and wrapped around the edges. Each print is then hand finished with each corner being carefully folded and tucked in to ensure that there are no unsightly edges.
