What is Friendship Home ?
Friendship Home is a not for profit corporation with offices in Hingham, Massachusetts. We serve individuals with developmental disabilities and their families throughout Southeastern Massachusetts. We operate Friendship Club for over 65 individuals in Norwell, Quincy and Duxbury. Club members gather twice per month in each location to plan activities, prepare a meal together and share their thoughts, feelings and experiences with the support of trained staff and volunteers. We will expand our offerings in the Fall of 2009 to include a location for young adults age 16-21 in Scituate and vocational assessment, training and support in Hingham. We will break ground on “The Home with the Heart” late summer/early fall 2009 on the grounds of the United Church of Christ in Norwell.
