The French Revolution happened in France in 1789 to 1799. The absolute monarchy of King louis XVI was overthrown & replaced by a Republic. The main causes were economic hardship & famine amongst the common people. The Industrial Revolution happened during the 19th century when the steam powered engine was invented in England which created the Manufacturing Industries (Factories) that could mass produce products, created employment & changed the world altogether. The Dark Ages was the first half of the Middle Ages between the Year 476 AD when the Roman Empire fell & the year 1000 AD. It’s called the Dark Ages because law & order under Roman rule was replaced by near total Anarchy. The Golden Age is a general term used to describe a very good time period.
