What is French Centre Faisalabad?
French Centre Faisalabad is a place of dynamic learning, sharing of experiences and dialogue of cultures. The Centre started in January 2007. It is located in Civil Lines on Bilal Road. The basic idea which initiated the Centre is to facilitate the already immense and ever growing textile and industrial region and the huge number of scholars studying at some of the most dignified institutes of Asia located in Faisalabad. In fact Faisalabad is the largest textile exporter and contributes enormously towards the economy of Pakistan; a major share of this export is towards European Union. Moreover, there is a high number of talented scholars selected at a national level to pursue their higher studies in France. French language being an essential part of this maze, the clich being the absence of a French Centre has caused havoc during the past.
