Most middle school students should have some homework part of the time. Because of the differences in students’ work habits, some will have to spend more time on their homework than others. If you are concerned about your student’s homework or grades, please call the school office and the secretary will schedule a conference with the teacher or teachers. The following is our policy for incomplete grades and make-up work: • Incomplete Grade – While teachers will assist the student with make up work, the student must accept the responsibility of completing the work required within five (5) days of receiving the grade on his/her report card or it becomes an “F.” For unusual circumstances, contact the school principal. • Make-up Work – We expect students to make up work missed for all absences: excused, unexcused, and truant. Teachers will give students the number of school days equal to the number of days absent to make up the work missed (not to exceed a total of five school days). It is
