WHAT IS FORTNIGHTLY?
Fortnightly is dance instruction and social etiquette training for St. John of the Cross 8th graders. It provides an opportunity for our students to learn to dance properly and, at the same time, have fun and enjoy the company of their friends. The Fortnightly program helps build maturity through social dance skills and helps aid them in respectful communication with the opposite sex and adult chaperones. Students are introduced to contemporary and traditional dances, as well as learning proper etiquette while in a reception line, and leaning proper ways to greet a dance partner.
