What is Fort Leonard Wood like for BCT?
Those of us who have been there will forever remember it as ” Fort Lost in the Woods.” If you ever wanted to give the State of Missouri an enema, that’s where you’d put the tube. I hope you aren’t going for a few week, because up to March, it’s cold as hell. They say the Army turns boys into men. Well, if you can get out of a warm bed and go outside where it’s 5-10 below at 5 AM, you’ll become a man very quickly. Seriously, basic anywhere, the days drag on foreever, but the weeks go by very quickly. Make freinds, work as a team and keep your sense of humor, and you will think of it as Fort Lost in the Woods forever. Good luck.
