What is Forearm tendonitis and why does it occur?
Forearm Tendonitis is the inflammation of the tendons in the forearm. A tendon is a strong, flexible tissue that attaches muscles to bones. A normal tendon is sleek and smooth and glides effortlessly through the surrounding tissues. Tendonitis is associated with overuse and strain of the muscles that guide the tendons. Normally tendonitis is most common in sports players but forearm tendonitis is very common in people who have use repetitive actions associated with their jobs. This form of tendonitis is commonly known as a repetitive strain injury or RSI.
