What is forcing Arizona State Parks to close?
While the Arizona State Parks Department had initially started asking campers to leave due to uncertainty over the budget, all of Arizona’s state parks will be open today and through the holiday weekend. Some of the closest parks affected by closures are Lost Dutchman State Park, Tonto Natural Bridge State Park, Jerome State Historic Park, and Red Rock State Park. Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park remains open, at least through the weekend.
