What is Football Hooliganism?
For some supporting your team is not enough. They seem to think that you have to show it by fighting. To stand toe to toe with your rivals and fight, not just with fists with chains and whateve you get your hands on. To be honest it was quite exciting to be involved andI was witness to a lot of violance when i first started going in the early 80’s. Hooligansism is called the English disease, but compare the situation here to that of Argentina, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, Croatia and Turkey. We had the worst of our problems in the 70’s and 80’s and it was said that during the 90’s most young men were all on ecstasy and trouble rarely occured. I remember the football special trains that Britsih rail put on and these were packed full of young angry pissed up blokes who couldnt wait to punch the crap out of someone.
