What is fly tipping and how does the council deal with it?
A. Fly tipping is the illegal dumping of rubbish. It angers the public, spoils the countryside and is costly to clear up. Details and locations of fly tips are often reported to us by members of the public. We aim to deal with such reports in a quick and efficient manner, usually within one working day. In some instances, however, we may wish to carry out enforcement and this may result in a short delay.
