What is flowback?
During the flowback process, water used in the fracing process is extracted from the wells and transported off-site, and the natural gas released during the fracing process begins to flow to the surface. As the natural gas reaches the surface, each well goes through a controlled process called flaring. Concurrently, wells are prepared for delivery of the natural gas, and production facilities are installed.
