What is Flash CS3?
Flash CS3 is a graphic software that creates interactive, visually impressive web sites. I use Flash CS3 mostly for compelling introductions that are animated. Most Flash CS3 files sizes are small and manageable, which makes Flash CS3 very attractive. Your website will open quicker with small, light pages. Flash CS3 characteristics are two:bitmap and vector graphics. Bitmaps graphics are pixels (or dots) that come together to create an image. Whereas vector graphics are comprised of paths, lines, shapes, all which forms curves and graphics. Vectors drawing programs use mathematical formulas behind the scene of your graphic. How vectors work is not the focus of this class, however, understanding that Flash CS3 deals with vectors, and bitmaps, is important as we build our vocabulary and understanding of Flash CS3.
