What is FLAC?

FLAC stands for Free Lossless Audio Codec. The audio files are compressed, but such that the size of the file is reduced by 30 to 70 percent, according to the type of music. At the same time there is no loss of quality, as it is with almost all other compression types. This format is free from software patents and is, in our opinion, the only real and current alternative to listen to lossless compressed music. Should your end device not be able to play this format, it’s no problem to convert it into another format.
