What is Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Services Office?
Finger Lakes Developmental Disabilities Services Office, also referred to as FLDDSO is a unit of the Office of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities which is responsible for developing and providing comprehensive services for individuals with developmental disabilities–mental retardation, autism, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and other neurological impairments constituting a lifelong mental or physical impairment that becomes apparent prior to age 22. Finger Lakes DDSO, in partnership with voluntary, community, local agencies and county mental health departments throughout its region, designs and delivers services best suited to the needs of each individual and their family.
