What is Financial Aid Probation or Suspension?
If you do not meet the stated academic standards at the end of a semester, you will be placed on Financial Aid Probation. While on Financial Aid Probation, you are eligible to receive financial aid for one more semester. During the probation semester, you are required to complete all coursework with a C or better. For remedial coursework, you cannot receive a grade of Z, U, or F. If you do not successfully complete all coursework with a passing grade, you will then be suspended from financial aid. Appeal Process and Reinstatement of Financial Aid If you become ineligible for financial aid due to academic progress or because the maximum time frame has been reached, you may submit a written appeal to the Director of Financial Aid. If you are suspended from financial aid, you must complete one semester (six or more credit hours, excluding audits) with grades of A, B, C, or S in all courses for that semester before an appeal is submitted. If you had mitigating circumstances that affected a
