What is FESTF doing to meet endangered species protection requirements?
After nearly four years of research on endangered species protection mechanisms and subsequent cooperative exploration of protection alternatives with EPAs Office of Pesticide Programs (OPP), the FIFRA Endangered Species Task Force developed a program by which FIFRA requirements will be fully met by pesticide registrants with a minimum impact on customers. The principle of the agreed approach is the development of access to existing information on T&E species to allow their comparison to potential pesticide use at the county level of resolution.
