What is FCAT Science?
FCAT Science is an addition to the state of Florida’s Assessments. Although 5th grade began taking this assessment in 2002-2003, it was not reflected in their end of the year summary of scores until the following year. The assessment concentrates on what our children have learned in science in their first 6 years of elementary school. They will be asked multiple choice questions. This year, the short and long essay response will be missing.
