What Is Fast–tracking in Project Management?
Fast–tracking (in Project Management) is reducing the duration of a project usually by overlapping phases or activities originally planned to be to done sequentially. It is the process of reducing the number of sequential relationships and replacing them typically with parallel relationships, usually to achieve shorter overall durations but often with increased risk.
