What is Family & Consumer Sciences (FCS)?
Family Consumer Sciences (FCS) is the study of relationships among people and their environments. The FCS Department prepares students to improve the lives of individuals, the functioning of families, and the strength of communities through numerous disciplines including the Family Studies content area. What is Family Studies? The Family Studies program explores individual and family development, family interaction and communication patterns, and the interdependent relationship between individuals, their families, communities, and society. How do you protect student privacy? I grade all completed assignments; no one will see your graded work unless you show it to him or her. Grades for examinations and assignments are available on WebCT. No one else has access to your grade except you, unless you allow him or her to log on to the site. You can access WebCT by using your CSUN email address & password. What is your policy on cheating? Academic dishonesty is neither condoned nor tolerated
