What is Fairtrade coffee?
The central principal of Fairtrade is to ensure the FT certified producers receive adequate remuneration for their labour and investment in sustainable production. The Fairtrade organization also strengthens the supply chain and provides farmers with the resources they need to produce high quality coffee. There are more than 250 FT certified coffee producers organization based in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
