What is Extended Warranty insurance?

Extended Warranty insurance is automatically available to Gold and Platinum Cardholders and extends the manufacturer’s Australian warranty by up to 12 months, provided the purchase of those goods is charged to the cardholder’s eligible credit card. Extended Warranty Insurance is complimentary for HSBC Gold and Platinum cardholders. It provides an extended Australian manufacturers warranty for up to 12 months on most purchases of personal goods using your Gold or Platinum credit card.
