What is extended-day preschool program as compared to full-day program?

0

Extended day pertains to a 3 – 5 year old program that is longer than preschool, yet not as long as the full-day program. Both programs enjoy the same facilities and curriculum, however children on full-day program can come anytime between 7:00AM to 6PM; whereas the extended day is from 8:45 am-2:45 pm. The extended day program is also not available during Blakeburn Elementary Pro-D days, Christmas and Spring breaks. Also, since the extended day preschool shares a room with another program, early drop off and/or late pick up can not be accomodated.
