What is expected of the COA Workgroup?
The COA Workgroup was convened by the Joint Governance Board for Financial Systems Accounting domain Owners to guide the development and adoption of a single statewide chart of accounts (COA) for use with both the new Central Accounting System and the Agency Financial Management System. Workgroup participants help define key decision points for the Accounting Domain Owners, they attend Joint Application Design sessions to share the Agencies perspective in addressing systems requirements, and they meet under the Accounting Domain Owners guidance to define current and future business practices related to the establishment and maintenance of the future statewide chart of accounts.
