What is expected of parents for childrens birthday parties?
sometimes parents stay, they ususally ask though or I will tell them at the outset of the party – youre welcome to stay but you can leave him/her and pick them up at 3 if you like. most parents don’t want to hang around unless the children are very young – maybe under 5 OR if they don’t feel comfortable leaving the child for whatever reason. if adults are drinking for example, or if it looks like there might be safety hazards with so many children running around.
