What is expected of Huskins students?
High School students who enroll in JSCC courses through the Huskins program may/will: 1. Be familiar with the Huskins catalog and adhere to the policies and rules therein. 2. Receive college semester hours credit depending on the number of college courses satisfactorily completed. 3. Receive a course syllabus with the instructor’s grading policy and other pertinent course information. 4. Be exposed to college/adult level materials/content in the courses. 5. Be expected to attend all scheduled courses on time and be well prepared. 6. Be responsible for all course material missed if an absence is absolutely necessary. 7. Have class absences reported to the high school attendance. 8. Receive a college grade report with the course grade, which will be recorded on an official Johnston Community College transcript. 9. Exhibit mature behavior but, in the event of inappropriate behavior, be subject to disciplinary action by both the college and the high school. Disciplinary action may include
