What is expected of a Squadron/Platoon Commander(CMDR/PCMDR)?
A Squadron/Platoon Commander commands a squadron of twelve pilots/commandos. It is his or her duty to see that all pilots/commandos are active and productive in Imperial Order activities. The CMDR/PCMDR manages the day to day operations of an Squadron/Platoon; this includes maintaining continuous contact with Flight/Squad Members, Flight/Squad Leaders and making all sorts of internal decisions on Squadron/Platoon positions, Ranks and Medal Awards. The CMDRs/PCMDRs also must review battle and mission performance files sent in from Squadron/Platoon Members and make recommendations to their Wing/Regiment Commander for Medal awards and/or Rank/Position promotions. It should be noted that the Fleet Commander allows CMDRs a great deal of latitude in customising a Squadron/Platoon to its own particular talents. However, assigned fighters, Squadron/Platoon Names and Squadron/Platoon Objectives may not be altered . Squadron/Platoon Commanders may select the Banners and Mottoes of their Squadrons
