What is Executive Talent Management (EX TM)?
EX TM is about ensuring that executives are matched to the right job for their skills, competencies and career plans. Dialogue, feedback, career supports and learning tailored to each individual allows their potential to be fully realized, organizational priorities to be met and supports Public Service excellence. Through opportunities for discussion, feedback, career supports and tailored learning and development options, EX TM is considered a shared responsibility between individuals, managers, departments, HR professionals and the enterprise, as a whole. It is designed to support the ongoing development and retention of executives (EXs), levels 1-5, in line with current and future departmental business goals. The aim of EX TM is to help build sustained excellence in Public Service leadership by maximizing the contribution of every executive. EX TM will support EX succession planning.
