EXCEL time allows students to be taught in small groups with instruction targeted to individual needs. Each grade level has a specific EXCEL time. Some students may leave their classroom during EXCEl time a few days a week. (Reading, Writing, SAGE, Speech, Exceptional programs) Students leaving their classroom during EXCEL time do not miss any class work or instruction.
