What is examined in the survey & score analysis?
Key components of contractor programs with a focus on aspects addressed by the recently proposed FAR amendments, such as: • Code of Ethics and Business Conduct (including examining whether the code of ethics and business conduct effectively addressed all major areas of potential improper conduct in government contracting); • Internal Control Systems (including examining whether such controls are adequate and effective in preventing and detecting misconduct and ensure corrective measures are promptly instituted and carried out); • Training and Communication; and • Leadership and Tone From the Top (including demonstrable leadership from the executive suite on the importance of compliance and ethics in government dealings). The above program components have over 50 criteria that form an overall Government Contractor Ethics Quotient (GCEQ). This score is the basis of the rankings.
