WHAT IS EUROPEAN LANGUAGE PORTFOLIO?
The European Language Portfolio is introduced to motivate and support foreign language learning. It has been designed to enable learners to think about their language learning and ways to improve it whether you attend a course or learn languages on your own. It can also be used as a portfolio to show the others your knowledge of foreign languages and cultures. It is based on the levels described in the Common European Framework of Reference developed by the Council of Europe. You are owner of the portfolio. It is your help which will present a follow-up of your foreign languages learning in an adult age and be suitable for documentation of both institutional or independent learning. If you possess a European language portfolio issued by some other competent authority, you might want to keep the one you already have.
