What is Essential Skills Wales?
Essential Skills Wales is a new suite of ‘basic’ or ‘core’ skills qualifications, available exclusively in Wales that will replace all other qualifications of this type. They are designed to give learners the skills that they will need to get on in life and work, regardless of the path that they choose to take, and to ensure that everyone in Wales has the skills they need to succeed in life.
