What is eschatological verification?

Well im revising a level religious studies at the moment so this is good revision. The term eschatological verification comes from John Hick and his story of a celestial city. It refers to the idea that when we die we will be able to prove whether God exists or not. Either the atheist will be proven correct or the theist. The theist cannot be exactly proven wrong because if he is wrong they will be both ceasing to exist.
