First of all, John Wells produces The West Wing.(he also produces “Third Watch”) Secondly, Laura Innes (Kerry Weaver) directed the episode “Shibbloth” (not sure of the spelling) of the West Wing. (She was nominated for an Emmy for directing that episode in 2001) Thirdly, Bradley Whitford who plays Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman on the West Wing guest starred in season 1 of ER. He played the widower of Jodi O’Brian in the episode “Love’s Labour’s Lost.” He was the one who brought a law suit against Dr. Greene because of the death of his pregnant wife.
