What is Enrichment?
Enrichment is the addition of nutrients to foods. The semolina flour, which is used to make pasta, is enriched to return any nutrients that may be lost when the wheat is ground into flour. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulates the addition of thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, iron and folic acid to pasta.
The Heritage Enrichment program is designed for children ages 4-6. We believe that our Enrichment students are better prepared to enter the Lower School (Classes 1-5) than students who have not been a part of our Enrichment program. However, attending an Enrichment class does not guarantee admission into the Lower School.
