Engineered Plastic is not just your run of the mill plastic. Engineered plastic hoods are made by an automated machine and repeats the process perfectly every time, so your hood fits perfectly. It is made by blending various high grade plastics together to create a high grade plastic that will exhibit certain characteristics such as high strength, high impact, and/or high heat resistance to stand up to the end use it was designed for and to meet engineering specifications.
