What is Employment Exchanges (Compulsory Notification of Vacancies ) Act. 1959?
Ans: The said Act was enacted by the Central Govt. in 1959 and brought into force with effect from 1st May 1960. Under the provisions of the Act, all establishments in the Public Sector and those Establishment in the Private Sector where ordinarily 25 or more workers are employed to work for remuneration come within the purview of the Act.
