What is employment discrimination/harassment?
Employment discrimination or harassment occurs when an individual is treated less favorably with regard to the terms and conditions of his or her employment and/or has been subjected to unwelcome severe or pervasive conduct that effects his/her working conditions based on race, color, national origin, sex, physical or mental ability, religion, medical condition, ancestry, marital status, age or any other protected category.
