When this is performed by a competent, trained Electrologist, the regenerative ability of the hair follicle is permanently eliminated.

Electrolysis is a hair removal method that may provide a permanent result. It involves inserting a small fine needle into the hair folicle, and small electrical current that damages and eventually destroys the hair folicle. Electrolysis effectiveness is dependent on Electrologists’ skill in performing the procedure. Proper electrolysis requires accurate needle insertion technique, appropriate intensity, and electrical current levels. To become an effective technician, students will perform core electrolysis training for 15 weeks. The electrolysis training provides a student with a complete and comprehensive understanding about unwanted hair growth biological causes, allowing you to make practical hair and skin analysis to identify various disorders leading to hair growth. As technicians in training, you will have the opportunity to understand and perform electrolysis, thermolysis, and the blend methods of permanently removing hair from both women and men.
