What is EIC?
EIC is the Regional Encompass Implementation Committee. EIC is responsible for ensuring that the roll out of the Affiliation electronic clinical record and Information Management System (Encompass) across the four counties is done in a strategic manner and addresses the needs of each stakeholder. EIC meets twice a month and includes representation from Information Technology, Management, Clinical and Financial employees. Eric Kurtz is the chair of EIC. EIC is Earned Income Credit a tax credit for certain people who work and have earned income under IRS regulation. A tax credit usually means more money is your pocket. It reduces the taxes you owe. You need to fill a W-5 form in order to get earned income credit if you qualify. The form W-5 expires December 31st of every year need to fill out a new form effective January 1st every year.
