What is EGL and how does it compare to Gothic Lolita?
EGL is short of “Elegant Gothic Lolita” and EGA is short of “Elegant Gothic Aristocrat”. Both are a style the Japanese have “adopted” from different 19th century European cultures and turned into their own creation. EGL and EGA both have a gothic twist to them and majority of the style is dark colors mixed with ligther colors. EGL are dresses and EGA are generally men’s clothing. EGL is NOT the general word for gothic lolita, it is only Mana’s style which is bought at Moi-meme-Moitie. Gothic Lolita on the other hand, is basically the same thing, only you can buy it else where such as the store Metamorphose.
